I graduated as a cosmetologist in Torremolinos, Spain, in 2006. After that, I worked on cruise ships in positions matching my training. During two contracts, I traveled around Central America, the Caribbean, the Black and Mediterranean Seas, all the way north to the Svalbard archipelago.

Through this work experience, I became more and more certain that I had found the field and the job I truly enjoy.

To further develop my skills in bodywork and massage, I studied to become a massage therapist at the Itä-Karjala Folk High School. My specialties include Indian Head Massage and Nerve Pathway Massage. Over the years, I have also become interested in Reiki and am a Reiki practitioner in the tradition of Mikao Usui.

In spring 2009, I graduated as a foot care specialist from Savonlinna Humana, a social and health care education institute. This training gave me a new perspective on the importance of maintaining foot health. My practical training at Savonlinna Central Hospital highlighted the essential nature of foot care for diabetic patients.

To deepen my professional skills, I began reflexology training organized by MedikaNova in 2011, fulfilling a long-held professional dream. I have also completed MedikaNova’s infant colic massage course and nutrition studies.

To further enhance my professional expertise, in 2025 I participated in craniosacral therapy courses levels 1 and 2, organized by the Upledger & Barral Institute International.

I have been running my own business in Parikkala since 2011.
